- View categories in Product Category Management
- Categories sit inside groups (create categories before products)
- Categories are groups of similar products (e.g. vegetables, diary, extras, larder)
- This will vary from hub to hub based on how broad the range is but you should aim to have at least 5 products in a category. So, for example, if you have 5 different types of baked products, create a category called “Bakery”, but if you only have 1 type of baked product it might be more sensible to put it in a “Larder” category with eggs, flour etc
Steps - Creating Categories

In Crew Dashboard, go to Products -> Product Category Management -> Add Category

Insert the following:

Name: Name of category (e.g. Bakery, Chilled, Fruit, Vegetables - see examples below)

URL Name: This will autofill

Category Group: Select the Group that you want this category to sit in from the dropdown

Click Save
